…Charleston Jazz Orchestra Presents Holiday Swing!
The last performance of the 2011 season will be CJO’s annual Holiday Swing. This performance offers the famous jazz version of Pytor Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker, written by Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn. The second set of this concert will also include a review from some of CJO’s hits from other shows in the season.

An Evening with Quiana Parler will feature Quiana Parler, formerly a principal singer in the Broadway-style show, Serenade, at the Charleston Music Hall. Parler leads her own group, Quiana Parler and Friends, and she works regularly on a national level with the likes of Clay Aiken, Keith Sweat and Kelly Clarkson. She will be singing popular tunes and jazz standards in front of the 20-piece big band.
