Our Lady of Mercy 'Sweet' 16th Annual Auction

Our Lady of Mercy Community Outreach will host its 16th Annual Auction on Sunday, January 27, from 1 to 4 p.m., at the Charleston Marriott Hotel located at 170 N. Lockwood Blvd. Tickets are $75 and include a silent auction during a cocktail hour with light hors devours and wine followed by a live auction and formal Sunday dinner. Proceeds from the event will go directly to educational outreach services including early childhood education, English as a Second Language (ESL), GED preparation, budgeting classes, women’s health education, craft classes and more!
Several hundred items ranging from $8 to $750 will be up for bidding during the silent auction including artwork, home decor items, jewelry, food and wine baskets, golf clubs, tickets …
Convoy of Hope coming to Johns Island for families in need

On Saturday, October 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., or until supplies last, the 2012 Johns Island Convoy of Hope community outreach event will offer complimentary goods and services such as job training, employment opportunities, groceries, haircuts, health and medical education for families in need on and around Johns Island.
The event will take place at St. Johns High School at 1518 Main Road on Johns Island. Residents of Johns and Wadmalaw islands and surrounding areas are invited to attend. CreateAthon is a collaborative, 24-hour creative blitz that changes the impact of nonprofits and the lives of creative thinkers. Area Businesses Partner To Raise Funds For Local Family During Valentine's Holiday

Charleston, SC --- Branch Design Studio and D'lish Desserts are collaborating with the "Save Veronica Rose" campaign to help raise money for the Capobianco family as they face mounting legal fees in their fight to bring Veronica home. Both businesses are offering custom Valentine’s Day flower bouquet and cupcake bundles to be hand delivered on February 14 throughout the greater Charleston area. All proceeds from each order will be donated to the Save Veronica fund set up through the Christian Alliance for Indian Child Welfare (CAICW), national nonprofit.
