That culinary delicacy from under the sea will once again take center stage as the Sixth Annual Shuckin’ On The Strand Oyster Roast returns to the Hot Fish Club, located at 4911 U.S. 17 Business in Murrells Inlet.
Hosted by gsSCENE and presented by FSA Full Steam Ahead, Inc., the roast will take place Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014 from 12 to 4 p.m. This popular, sell-out event brings out over 500 attendees each year to enjoy oysters, chicken bog and a great time.
“Our mission is a simple one – give attendees quality seafood to enjoy. And what better place to do that than in the seafood capital of South Carolina?” said Shannon Furtick, membership programs manager for the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce and gsSCENE organizer.
Tickets are $25 per person and include all-you-can-eat oysters from Harrelson’s Seafood, chicken bog and fixings and two drinks. Tickets are $10 for children ages 8 and under.
Live entertainment will be provided by the Paul Grimshaw Trio.
