SLANT Media Earns Silver ADDY® Award for Video at Regional AAF Competition

SLANT Media celebrates winning a Silver ADDY in the American Advertising Federation’s District Three ADDY Awards. The award-winning video is a part of the “Self-Promotion, Broadcast” category, and highlights the depth of work SLANT has tackled for clients.

Each year, the ADDY Awards honor excellence in advertising and cultivate the highest creative standards in the industry by facilitating local, regional and national levels of competition.

“We are especially proud that our SLANTdemo.09 reel continues to advance because it shows the results of our creative client collaboration,” said SLANT’s Creative Director, Christopher Cecil. “We wanted to convey our work in an entertaining way. The result is a combination of moving images and sound that not only shows our work - it shows our personality. We can’t wait to see what happens at the national level.”

SLANT won the Gold ADDY at the local level in February for the self-promotional reel, along with two Silver ADDYs for the video + microsite that supported the Blackbaud Inc. College Recruitment Series and the “Sad Santa” newspaper ad, created to highlight the design/build services of Dolphin Architects & Builders. The AAF’s District Three is comprised of South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia. The national AAF ADDY Awards will be held June 12, 2010.

In 2004, SLANT won a national AAF ADDY Award in the “Interactive Media” category for the website.
