Private school instructor Fernando Rivas plead guilty Thursday to charges of making child porn and sending images with a computer.
He could face as many as 50 years in prison.

Known for his contributions to Playhouse Disney's Handy Manny, composition of Nickelodeon promotional spots, work with Sesame Street, and time as a part time jazz instructor at the Porter Gaud School, the reputation of Charleston resident Rivas fell apart after November 2011 allegations of child porn possession and production.
In July, Rivas waved a jury trial and instead asked that a judge weigh the case.
