Freshfields Village will kick off the holiday season November 25 through 27 with its 6th Annual Holiday Festival on the Village Green.
The dining and shopping destination located at the crossroads of Kiawah and Seabrook islands will adorn festive lights and holiday décor while offering guests the opportunity to enjoy a variety of free activities.
On Friday, November 25 from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m., children will be amused with a jump castle, children’s train and face painting. Families can create a special, handmade holiday gift in the crafts area while listening to the interactive children’s music band, Big Bang Boom, as they play original songs and rock versions of traditional children’s favorites.
Santa will also be on site throughout the weekend, where each family will receive a complimentary photo with Santa, courtesy of Freshfields Village merchants. Visit Santa Friday and Saturday between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., or Sunday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Stores will be open during the Festival enticing holiday shoppers with one-of-a-kind merchandise, much of which can be found in the new Freshfields Village holiday catalog. Available at any retail merchant and modeled after famous department store wish books, the catalog features unique combinations of gifts from throughout the Village.
Among the featured items are: a complete bedroom makeover by the designers at Aubergine Home Collection, an exclusive “Sip & Shop” private shopping experience at J. McLaughlin that allows the buyer to contribute 15% of sales from their purchase to a charity of their choice, and a 6,505-square-foot, $14 million home located on an 11 acre private island within Kiawah Island.
Contact Freshfields Village at (843) 768-6491 for more information or questions. The Holiday Festival is sponsored by the Town of Kiawah and Freshfields Village merchants.
