On the heels of opening for national acts such as Ha Ha Tonka and Bronze Radio Return as well as a showcase at the Denver Post's UMS Festival, Dan Tedesco is currently touring nationwide with his power duo - vocals/guitars/keyboard/harmonicas, drums/percussion - in support of his current release, "Tracks On Fire".
Produced and engineered by Duane Lundy (Jim James, Ben Sollee, These United States, Vandaveer) at Shangri-la Productions in Lexington, KY, "Tracks On Fire" is a raw, stripped-down batch of songs offering both a haunting and hopeful perspective on life in 2011 America.
The Chicago-based singer/songwriter's music is steeped in tradition - roots, rock 'n roll, folk, old country and jazz.
Sound like all things good? Tedesco's tour is bringing him to the Lowcountry this Thursday, April 12th. He'll be playing a solo show at Firey Ron's Home Team BBQ's West Ashley location at 9 p.m., so go check him out.
