The Charleston Horticultural Society invites you to their annual fall Gardens for Gardeners Tour on Sunday, October 3rd.
This year, the focus will be Charleston’s gorgeous Garden District, also know as Mazyck Wraggborrough. Founded in the late 1700s, Mazyck Wraggborrough was popular for wealthy families seeking suburban living. Nestled in among the colonial and antebellum homes, you will find a diverse collection of gardens and garden styles, many rarely open to the public. During the tour, you'll visit 8-10 private gardens, including the acclaimed parterre at the Joseph Aiken Mansion.
The tour run from noon until 4 p.m. with a light reception following the tour. Tickets are $25 to Horticultural Society Members and $45 for non-members. Score your spot on the tour today by calling (843) 579-9922 or purchasing tickets online.
