First reporting: If you're tired of waiting for Wednesdays or the to chow down on Butcher & Bee's banh mi sandwiches, you're in luck.
Charleston City Paper reports that a new banh mi shop (run by the Street Hero guys who make a phenomenal bahn mi every Saturday at the Charleston Farmers Market in Marion Square) will be opening in the spot on Spring Street that used to house The Remedy Market.

Unfortunately, the exact date on when the doors will open is still a mystery. To tide you over - or possible tease you more - here's a peek at what the menu will offer (as found on Facebook):
Bon Banh Mi proudly offers fresh made to order sandwiches (banh mi), tacos, salads, and rice bowls; all of which draw on the bold/complex flavors of Vietnam. Our menu combines a handful of locally sourced ingredients as well as hormone and antibiotic free meats. Our goal is to offer you a healthy, responsibly sourced meal at a fair price.
