New faces, old faces, and runoffs: All you need to know on the Charleston area elections
The results have (and is some cases are still coming) in area elections. Now here's are some link loaded sentances to get you all the info you need.
Charleston Mayor Joe Riley dominated to a 10th term and he'll see two new faces on city council and possibly a third after a November 22 runoff.
In North Charleston, Mayor Keith Summey dominated even more than Riley with 78% of the vote, but there will be a lot of new faces on council with only five incumbents safely holding their seats.
Mount Pleasant elected two new faces to council and brought back two.
There will also be a November 22 runoff for a Folly Beach council seat and similarly on the Isle of Palms three were elected and a runoff will be held for a fourth.
Lincolnville will also have a new face on council.
