About the Open Community

The Open Community allows you to write or promote writing that you think is important for Charleston.

  • You can: Promote stories you find interesting.
  • Promote issues you find important.
  • Promote your business and event.
  • Correct punctuation and factual mistakes.
  • Improve the overall feel of writing.

You can either pen a brief reaction to a story, write a full piece, or just promote good community coverage. 

The choice is up to you.

Obviously there are some details to it, but that's the basic idea.

All you need do is create an account and then just click "publish something" in the box at the bottom right of your screen.
