Patriots Point gets $9.2 million loan for USS Laffey repairs
It looks like the destroyer ship USS Laffey is living up to it's title of 'The Ship that Would Not Die.'
The State Budget and Control Board approved a $9.2 million loan to repair the deteriorating warship Laffey at Patriots Point.
The Post and Courier as well as the Charleston Regional Business Journal have stories on the newly approved loan.
