Downtown's rapid-exit corridor of Coming Street could soon go two-way: The City of Charleston has called for a study to be done on the impacts of pedestrian safety and traffic.

Personally, I'll speculate that they might do as they've done with Ashley and Rutledge, by only making the streets two way on their less-busy parts south of Calhoun Street.
Changing Cannon and Spring streets from one-way is still pending, but looks probable.
