Archaeological find indicates 50,000 year old humans

An archaeological dig that has been going on in Allendale Country could potentially prove that humans were living in South Carolina 37,000 years before the Clovis people.

University of South Carolina archaeologist Albert Goodyear unearthed a fire pit containing plant remains that date to at least 50,000 years ago.

The State has the full story on what may be one of the most important sites being excavated today.
