Local mix masters to battle it out at the Bacardi Cocktail Classic
On Tuesday, June 5th from 8 to 11 p.m., 18 of Charleston’s best bartenders will gather at the SC Aquarium celebrate Bacardi’s 150th anniversary and to compete in the Bacardi Cocktail Classic (formerly The Bacardi Mojito Challenge) which will benefit The South Carolina Special Olympics.

For the celebration the SC Aquarium will be transformed into a steamy Caribbean paradise where a panel of judges and the public will decide the winning Bacardi cocktail while enjoying the sultry Cuban Jazz and Salsa of Gino Castillo and his Sextet.
Previous winners of the competition include John Acquino from Coast, and the 2011 winner, Lindsay Ranes from O-Ku.
Leading up to the event, Bacardi Cocktail Classic is hosting weekly Facebook and Twitter ticket giveaway contests for fans of their pages.
Tickets are available for $35 online and advanced ticket purchase is highly recommended
