Laura Albert's and Victory Brewing team up for beer dinner

The last Thursday of each month is beer dinner time at Laura Albert's, and this month they are teaming up with Downington, PA's Victory Brewing for what looks to be a killer beer dinner.

Why so killer, you ask?  Well, here's the ambitious menu, straight from the Laura Albert's website:

Reception: Bottomless CBC Braumeister Pils (Tettnanger hops)

1st Course: Warm Asparagus, Roma Tomato & Mozzarella Napoleon with Mesclun Greens & Meyer Lemon Vinaigrette + Helios Ale

2nd Course: Fried Irish Corned Beef & Cabbage Rolls with Cajun Remoulade + Hop Wallop

3rd Course:  Asian Style Beef Short Ribs, Ginger-scented Jasmine rice & Braised Bok Choy + Baltic Thunder

4th course:  Buttermilk Spice Cake with a Pear Compote & Dollop of Vanilla Whipped Cream + V-Twelve

This menu is a nod to both the diversity of the Victory line and the range of the kitchen staff at Laura Albert's.  If their last beer dinner is any indication, they can pull it off and then some, but I'll be there just to be sure (review to follow).  And so will Cameron Rollo, our region's Victory rep, who will no doubt guide diners through the pairings.
