Brett McKee parts ways with Charleston Hospitality Group

Provided

Local restauranteur Brett McKee -- formerly of Oak Steakhouse and O-Ku, which he left to work on expanding his Roadside Kitchen empire, which he then left to go to Charleston Hospitality Group -- has ended his six-month consultancy term.

The group includes Charleston restaurants Eli's Table, Tabbuli, Whisk, and Toast, an McKee told Eater that he had gotten the group where they needed to be and it was time for him to move on to new projects.

What that next project will be isn't known yet, but a website marketing McKee is due to launch soon -- check out Eater's short report here.

There's plenty of great Charleston content out there, but it's ever harder to find -- Charleston's TheDigitel is the only place to get linked to the best Charleston content and events.
