Sean Brock and The Ordinary move on as James Beard Award finalists

The James Beard Foundation announced the semifinalists for the 2013 Restaurant and Chef Awards today and some top Charleston-based culinarians have made the cut.
And the semifinalists are:
- Best New Restaurant: The Ordinary
- Outstand Chef: Sean Brock - McCrady's
- Best Chef, Southeast: Joshua Keeler - Two Boroughs Larder, Craig Deihl - Cypress and Jeremiah Bacon - The Macintosh
- Outstand Wine Program - Charleston Grill

Update March 18: The James Beard Award Finalists have been announced and two Charleston chefs are still in the running to take home the top culinary prize.
Sean Brock of McCrady's is a finalist in the "Outstand Chef" category while Mike Lata's The Ordinary is up for "Best New Restaurant."
