PURE Theatre putting on 'Sheep's Clothing' play

'Sheeps Clothing', a new play by PURE Theatre, written by Spencer Deering, explores the language of men.

Pure Theatre describes it ... "'Sheep's Clothing', follows a tight group of high school coaches who feel their way of life-and even their precious locker room-is under seige. (Not helping: one of their players recently "had relations" with his young female math teacher). When a possible traitor emerges, the bike shorts ride higher, the whistles screech louder, and the roars grow threatening".

The Charleston City Paper has an interesting article about theatre and 'Sheeps Clothing' specifically.

$30 shows are May 1, 7-9, 14-15 at 7:30 p.m. and May 10 (with free child care) at 2 p.m.; $25 tickets during Piccolo Spoleto from May 22-25 at 5:30 p.m.; and pay-what-you-can night on May 13 at 7:30 p.m.

The play runs at the Circular Congregational Church at 150 Meeting Street in downtown Charleston.
