Charleston gets $600,000 to track down new, old criminals

Flickr user James Glover

The Post and Courier reports that the City of Charleston has received a series of grants to help investigate cold cases with new means (like DNA) and help prosecute current crimes.

Hop over to the paper for the story.

It's particularly good news as using new investigation techniques on old crimes has already shown results in Charleston.

There's plenty of great Charleston content out there, but it's ever harder to find -- Charleston's TheDigitel is the only place to get linked to the best Charleston content and events.
