The Post and Courier's publisher to step down

Larry Tarleton, publisher of The Post and Courier, is stepping down effective March 31.

What's it mean? I'm not yet sure. But back in September the paper's parent company reorganized all of its newspapers into a separate, isolated division. And back in July the paper offered buyouts to its employees.

A successor has not yet been named.
