The Open Community gives you the power to be heard.
Looking to spread the word about your ideas, business, or what's happening in Charleston? You can reach thousands of local Charlestonians by blogging on TheDigitel.

The Open Community allows you to write or promote writing that you think is important for Charleston. All you need do is create an account and then click "publish something" in the box at the bottom right of your screen.
You can:
- Promote stories you find interesting.
- Promote issues you find important.
- Promote your business and/or event.
- Correct punctuation and factual mistakes.
- Improve the overall feel of the writing on our site.
You can either pen a brief reaction to a story, write a full piece, or just promote good community coverage.
The choice is up to you.
Obviously there are some details to it, but that's the basic idea.
