Redux director resigns


Seth CurcioSeth Curcio, executive director of Redux Contemporary Art Center, submitted his letter of resignation on June 2.

His resignation from the non-profit gallery, studio, and education center will be effective September 5th, but Curcio has agreed to continue helping on an unpaid part-time basis through January.

Curcio has stated he plans to further develop the online art publication Dailyserving.com, and he also plans to do more studio work and write a book.

The news comes after Redux has faced the possibility of losing the lease to its 6,000 square foot warehouse space in late 2009.
