Scott Debus's solo debut at Scoop Studios

Scoop studios is presenting 'Up', the solo debut of New York-turned-Charleston artist Scott Debus from September 4th to the 29th at the 57 1/2 Broad Street studio.

Debus is curator and co-organizer of Kulture Klash, the bi-annual multidisciplinary contemporary art event in North Charleston that incorporates his underground New York persona. Debus was the reipient of the Lowcountry Arts Grant in 2008 that recognized his paintings that focuses on the movement of dancers at the North Charleston Performing Art Center Gallery. The artists is presently an Instructor for Creative Spark where he teaches visual arts and claymation to all ages.

An artist reception is scheduled for Friday, September 4th from 5 to 8 pm at SCOOP studios. This event is free and open to the public.
