Charleston Stage performs adaptation of 'A Christmas Carol'

Charleston Stage's adaptation of "A Christmas Carol" is showing now through December 21.

Here's what they say about it:

This year’s production of A Christmas Carol, A Ghost Story of Christmas features dazzling new special effects, sparkling new costumes and stunning Christmas card sets. Starring Charleston Stage’s entire Resident Acting Company and featuring a cast of fifty actors, singers, dancers, and musicians. It’s our biggest holiday spectacular ever!

The Charleston City Paper went and checked it out, and while they generally enjoyed it, they found some of technical gaffs too much to ignore. Perhaps their performance will be more polished by the time you get there.

You can buy tickets ($41 adults, $15 students) by calling (843) 577-7183 or online.

The show is at the College of Charleston Sottile Theatre.

There's plenty of great Charleston content out there, but it's ever harder to find -- Charleston's TheDigitel is the only place to get linked to the best Charleston content and events.
