Charleston Locals Premier Tonight

The Charleston International Film Festival is underway at the American Theatre all weekend, and tonight marks the premier of some of Charleston's best local talent.  "The Republic of Pete" not only stars local actors, but was also directed by local Jesse Berger, and produced by locals Akim Anastopoulo and Matt Schlecter, as well as TheDigitel's own Nate Mallard.

"The Republic of Pete" will be debuting during the 9 pm. block of tonight's showings.

The Post & Courier has the full scoop over here on the film.

According to the CIFF site, the 9 pm block has been sold out, but tickets are still available for the 4 pm and 7 pm blocks.

There's plenty of great Charleston content out there, but it's ever harder to find -- Charleston's TheDigitel is the only place to get linked to the best Charleston content and events.
