Are they funny? You decide at the Charleston Comedy Festival stand-up competition

Think you know what's funny? Then share your knowledge and feel free to pass judgment on stand-up comedic hopefuls this Saturday, November 21st.

This year the stand-up comedy competition for the Charleston Comedy Festival is having preliminary rounds where the comedians are judged, not by a panel of selected judges, but by the audience.

Last year, comedians came from all over the region to compete. The top vote-getters from this show will move on to the finals, which will take place on the opening night, January 20th, of the 2010 Charleston Comedy Festival.

The tickets are only $5 and are selling pretty quickly, so it would probably be best to pre-order them, either online of by calling (843) 853-6687

The show starts at 10 p.m. at Theatre 99's 280 Meeting Street location.
